|Intet dufter så dejligt som orangeblomster/Nothing smell as good as orange flowers|
There are many gardens that are just as beautiful and even prettier than mine. But there is one thing that is different in my garden. I have this guy running loose. He is the reason that my garden is truly unique. He has built raised beds and flower racks of iron to me and he is actually quite good at working in iron.
He also made birds in iron. In danish you would say: "He is an eagle at anything within craftsmanship" In english I think he would be called a wiz. For you guys who know him, you might also know that he uses an eagle stamp as a quality stamp in his pipes (being an eagle within handicraft). That man can do ANYTHING with his hands!
Both the garden and the greenhouse are full of plants. We might end up being selfsupplying.
The first chicks have hatched. Much to the delight of the parents but unfortunately also for Mr. Owl, who live in our neighbor's spruce tree and to all the other neighbors' cats that go hunting in our garden. There are also other guests in the garden, which has begun to eat our food, so now the strawberries are fenced so that the deers do not take them. I've also been robbed by a edible snail. It ate my only freestanding zucchini. In return I was greeted by this sight this morning. The first flower of the zucchini, which is protected in the greenhouse. More about edible snails later.
